Why I Started the 28-Day Self-Love in February
February, often associated with love and romance, brings a natural reminder to express affection to others—through thoughtful cards, chocolates, flowers, and romantic gestures. While these traditions are lovely, I couldn't help but notice an important omission: self-love.
We’re so accustomed to giving love outwardly, yet we frequently forget to extend the same love inward, to ourselves. This realization sparked the idea to launch the 28-Day of Intentional Self-Love in February. I wanted to carve out a space where we could turn the focus inward, allowing for a deeper connection to our own hearts and minds. This month is not just about celebrating love for others, but also embracing the love that we deserve.
The Power of 28 Days
While it's commonly said that it takes 21 days to form a habit, I believe that 28 days provides the perfect window to reinforce this habit in a meaningful way.
